We probably had about 400 people coming and going between 12 and 5. There was plenty of room inside as well as outside.
My dad was in his element! Notice the glass of red wine...I think it was blackberry. Our friend Lee Glynn made the wine and it was superb! I hope someone got a video of my dad dancing to the band......too funny.....He loves to dance!
This is the band that played.......we have a perfect place tucked under the new bedroom loft. Everyone really enjoyed the music.
Alberta Currier of New Sharon, Maine made this wonderful cake. You can't see in the picture, but she did little heart patterns on the icing so it looked like white fabric with embossed hearts....so cute.......it was also yummy.
On Sunday, October 9th we had a "barn warming". We invited many of our friends and neighbors for lunch and a tour of the barn. Kel-Mat, a great restaurant in Skowhegan, catered and we even had a wonderful little band thanks to Christine Beuuwekes.
