New bed in front loft. It took me a whole day to put it together. The mattress is so comfy.

Mike filled in the area between the beams with wallboard and then made a special plaster and painted it "Mercer White". I really like it!

Well I went back to Maine April 13th. Dad couldn't wait to get back, but of course there was SNOW!!!!! We had several snowstorms...I loved it!!

Mike finished the shingles on the front end of the barn. He also built a closet up in the sleeping loft.

March 16th....Back to the farm! Lots of snow.....I shoveled a trench from the house to the barn. It was so crisp, clean and really bright!

This is the new bench that Mike built into the center post of the barn. That back piece is from my great grandfather's house across the road. We are going to call that house the "Quilter's Quarters". I'm traveling to Maine March 9th to visit and bring my dad back to San Diego for a month. Can't wait to see all the new surprises inside the barn.
